Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
Role
* We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants available to work on a long term basis within an Mainstream Primary School in a SEN Provision in Braintree.
* As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils across primary with a range of age groups and learning abilities.
* Work closely with pupils presenting ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, additional learning needs and behavioural challenges.
* Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage engagement in learning.
* Assist with behaviour management strategies and create a safe, structured environment.
* Support teachers in delivering lessons and provide one-to-one or small group interventions.
About You
* Essential: Prior experience working within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit), Alternative Provision, or similar setting.
* Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural difficulties.
* A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting challenging behaviour.
* Flexibility to adapt to different age groups and settings within the provision
