Following recent developments within our Nutrition & Dietetic ‘Healthier Future Team’, NHS Forth Valley is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our dynamic service.

We aim to deliver on the Scottish Government Strategy Document ‘A healthier future: Scotland's diet and healthy weight delivery plan’ whilst aligning with Forth Valley wide strategic priority areas. Our 4 sub-teams include Adult Weight Management, Child Healthy Weight, Type 2 Diabetes Early Intervention and Public Health Nutrition. We work closely with patients, groups, communities and a wide range of third sector and statutory partner organisations.

This post offers the opportunity to work with children, young people and adults supporting healthy weight and diabetes prevention. It is ideal for a flexible Dietitian with experience in weight management or diabetes care though we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a passion for prevention-focused work. Training and support for professional growth will be provided.

We are seeking a skilled dietitian with outstanding clinical skills and a person first focus. This role will involve implementing person-centred and innovative care pathways, collaborating with other professionals to create tailored, effective prevention or therapeutic strategies for individuals and groups. The scope of the role will evolve in response to service needs, ensuring a dynamic and adaptable career path, valuing the successful candidate's interests and experience.
