About The Business Unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators globally. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle and we contribute to the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
Overview Of The Role
We are seeking experienced Civil Engineer(s) to join our Transport and Mobility Solutions Division. You will develop design solutions in local streets and infrastructure from concepts and feasibility plans to designs for planning applications and construction details, using the latest digital design delivery methods. The focus is on innovative and sustainable project solutions that drive efficiency and social value for our clients.
Responsibilities
* Use and expand knowledge to deliver cost effective, innovative, safe, sustainable solutions that benefit the community now and in the future
* Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members
* Comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and applicable regulations
* Work with local authorities, public and private developers, and contractors
* Use digital solutions to deliver a right first time approach
Candidate specification
The Successful Candidate Will Meet The Following Criteria
* Relevant degree qualification, preferably with additional professional qualifications; relevant equivalent experience will be considered
* Technically astute with experience mentoring and developing apprentices and graduates
* Experience across multi-discipline design projects with sound engineering principles
* Confident communicator with good verbal and written skills

* Problem solving and delivering solutions to challenges
* Computer literate
* Self-motivated with drive for continuous improvement
* Strong Health and Safety focus
Security clearance
Offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance.
