Opportunity: Senior Transport Planner
Location: Central London (hybrid/flexible working)
Role Overview
I’m looking for an experienced Transport Planner with a good amount of experience (3-7 years) for a Senior Transport Planner vacancy in Central London.
You’d be joining an established, specialist consultancy and get to work on a range of new development plans across the UK, you’d be given the independence to lead your own schemes with the support from the 4 Directors and Associate Director in order to further your knowledge and development.

What You'll Do as a Senior Transport Planner
* Prepare and review Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans etc.
* Undertake junction modelling, assess active travel outcomes, and also design junction Layouts using CAD.
* Collaborate closely with developers, architects, town planners and other stakeholders.
* Mentor junior planners, support business development (proposal writing, client presentations), and foster client relationships.
Senior Transport Planner requirements
* Relevant Degree HND or degree in relevant subject, e.g. Geography or Mathematics (MSc in Transport Planning would be extremely beneficial)
* Extensive experience in transport planning consultancy with hands-on delivery of assessments, statements, travel plans, CTMPs, and highway design.
* Proficiency in junction modelling tools (OSCADY, ARCADY, PICARDY) or LinSig. .
* Ideally working towards, or already holding Chartership with a relevant body e.g. CIHT.
