We are looking for a stock controller to join our busy warehouse team.
Strategic
· Responsibility of supporting the Finance Director to manage the stock processes.
· Be the gatekeeper for the warehouse to production.
· Provide Admin support to the warehouse for ongoing communications to key stakeholders.
Delivery
· Working with the Finance and warehouse teams to set-up a structured process for inventory counts
· Count Key areas of inventory – working closely with the Warehouse Manager
· Ensure all key inventory areas are recording as accurately as possible
· Ensure reports from the ERP system the counts and amendments are complete.
· Report any variances to Management on a daily/weekly basis.
· Oversee the transition to the new ERP system and thereafter establish new controls.
· Assist with managing the inbound/outbound paperwork, liaising with Commercial departments and customer.

· Report Weekly a warehouse movement dashboard
· Be part of the "On Time, In Full" (OTIF) team as one of the businesses biggest KPI'S
· Ensure the business has full Inventory presence in matters where required, including helping the business have clear traceability.
· Be present at month-end counts and support the auditors at the year-end financial audit.
· Support Directors with various ad hoc requirements.
Core competencies, skills, experience
· Stock control experience is an advantage
· Auditing/Process control experience is an advantage.
· Ability to lead change process
· Problem solving skills – identify issues and present solutions.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
· An independent thinker with an analytical mind, methodical and investigative approach
· Team player, who motivates others by their actions. Someone who will work with/lead others to achieve company goals.
· Proficiency in Exchequer/SAGE (TBC), Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 10:00-17:30 & Friday 10:00-15:00 (Friday hours can have an earlier start and finish). Two saturday mornings per month are required and time off will be given in the week to compensate.
