The Role: As the Sales & Education Executive you will be responsible for achieving (and exceeding) the planned retail sales goals in an assigned territory through the development of in-store Sephora sales and teams rapport as well as execution of special events. A strong understanding of clean beauty, genuine & contagious affinity for MILK Makeup product, delivery of high-touch service, and focus on client development are keys to success. A strong communicator, the Sales & Education Executive will help to drive and execute key initiatives, optimize category strategies while leading best in class sales, training and education.
How You’ll THRIVE:
* Drive sales across the Milk Makeup brand throughout your designated territory to exceed budget by creating effective selling, eventing, education and customer experience strategies.
* Strategically schedule all sales support, events and training to maximize in-store effectiveness.
* Collaborate with management on the focus and execution of training activations within your assigned Sephora ensuring alignment with key launches and brand priorities.
* Track retail sales against goals. Identify opportunities for increased sales, analyze the business and proactively take corrective action to get results.
* Consistently lead by example and share best practices.
* Participate in onboarding/NSO training, product training, team development and share sales and training techniques as part of a collaborative global field team.
* Demonstrate role model selling behaviors, side by side coaching, artistry techniques and the ability to provide and accept actionable feedback.
* Know and respect Sephora Policy by reviewing and following all guides.
Merchandising and Stock:
* Observe, investigate, and follow-up to ensure visual merchandising compliance for all in store fixtures such as maintaining optimized inventory levels, proper tester maintenance, gondola and fixture cleanliness.
* Ensure all necessary steps are taken to communicate and influence stock issues and follow up in a timely manner.
* Successfully implement all in store merchandising programs; ensure the consistent implementation of on-time merchandising updates, uphold MILK Makeup’s image, identity and hygiene in accordance with MILK Makeup standards.
Communication:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the Sephora teams.
* Coordinate with Sephora store leadership on a regular basis. Based on those conversations, develop action plans that will support both Milk Makeup and Sephora goals.
* Inform in-store staff about relevant marketing, launch, and brand initiatives.
* Develop, build and maintain strong relationships with Sephora at a store level to ensure collaborative partnership.
* Communicate with your MMU line Manager at least once weekly with a status update call, report of weeks sales, out of stocks and any issues/opportunities, and respond to emails and instant messaging conversations with a sense of urgency.
* Maintain a calendar and schedule that accurately reflects your time worked in store.
Budgets:
* Follow and adhere to travel, expense, gratis, toa, collateral, supply and kit budget
* guidelines as set by your manager.
* Turn in all expenses, approved timesheets, and invoices with accuracy and on time.
We’d like YOU to have:
* Must have two or more years of experience in field sales, leadership, management or training experience within the retail cosmetics field. Experience within Sephora is preferred.
* Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to exhibit basic beauty make up skills.
* Must have basic computer knowledge.
* Expectation to work 8 hours per day in store when scheduled
* Open availability and expected flexibility to work holidays and weekends based on business needs.
