The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated intern to join the team to support our land acquisition and development project at a genuinely exciting moment.
This is a hands-on role to support cross-functional coordination across our land, finance, legal and design teams, and will have a real opportunity to help us build the workflows and templates that will shape how we manage future acquisitions.
What You’ll Do
* Keep the engine running – Take precise meeting minutes, track action points, and coordinate cross-team schedules.
* Own the documents – Prepare, format, and version-control critical project files; maintain a structured digital filing system.
* Build the playbook – Codify repeatable team processes into reusable templates (meeting logs, trackers, reporting formats) to create a scalable acquisition toolkit.
* Crunch the numbers – Support financial modelling with data inputs, Excel-based appraisals, and quantitative analysis.
* Bridge two worlds – Handle bilingual (English/Mandarin) correspondence and act as a key link between UK operations and Chinese HQ.
Who You Are
Essential
* Currently studying or a recent graduate in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related quantitative field.
* Numbers come naturally to you – you’re comfortable with data and spreadsheets.
* Microsoft Excel proficiency (formulas, structured tables, basic modelling).
* Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
* Highly organised, detail-obsessed, and able to juggle multiple workstreams.
* Proactive – you see what needs doing and you do it.
Desirable (you don’t need all of these, but bonus if you have any)
* Familiar with property development / investment concepts (GDV, IRR, development appraisals).
* Experience with tools beyond Excel – Argus, Python, Power BI, or similar.
* Previous internship or project experience in real estate, finance, or construction.
* An interest in UK–China cross-border investment.
What You’ll Gain
* Real responsibility from day one – exposure to a live land acquisition process.
* Lasting impact – directly help build internal processes and tools that will outlive your internship.
* Senior access – work closely with experienced professionals across land, finance, legal, and design.
* Cross-cultural edge – thrive in a bilingual environment bridging Chinese HQ and UK operations.
* Career springboard – a strong foundation for roles in real estate development, investment, or project management.
