We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,280.00 plus shift allowance of £1,709.50 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure productivity, quality, and service KPIs are achieved
* Lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring work is allocated effectively and completed within required timelines
* Monitor workflow and adjust resource allocation to meet operational demands and changing priorities
* Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and resolve in a timely and effective manner
* Oversee workforce management using Kronos, including attendance, scheduling, and time‑keeping compliance
* Coordinate inbound and outbound vehicle movements via Yard Management Systems (YMS) to ensure efficient yard flow and dock utilisation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
* Motivated self‑starter, comfortable working as part of a team and as an individual
* Passion, drive and ambition to make a career in supply chain
* Good communicator with good influencing skills who can operate at all levels
* Interpersonal skills, integrity, and commercial awareness with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and works well under pressure and to deadlines
* Flexible and supportive of customer contract and company requirements
* Understand customer requirements
