, we support individuals with Learning Disabilities across England. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily living skills of our residents, while also gaining valuable experience and training to advance your career. Where will I be working? You will be part of a 24-hour supported living facility dedicated to caring for adults with Learning Disabilities. Our residents may have complex needs, including Autism, health issues, and physical disabilities. This is a hands-on role that requires compassion and dedication. We focus on creating positive family relationships and a supportive environment, tailoring our services to help individuals achieve greater independence through various activities, budgeting, and cooking. You must be a driver to be considered for this role. Shift Patterns:
Flexibility is key! You will work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, sleep-ins, and weekends.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What will I be doing? This is a hands-on job where every day brings new challenges. Your responsibilities will include: Promoting the independence of the individuals we support Assisting with daily activities, including personal care and meal support Administering PEG feeding and following health professionals' guidance Conducting positive risk assessments to ensure safety Performing manual handling and hoisting as needed Supporting medication management, including creams and lotions Maintaining accurate records using a digital system
