Due to retirement Denbridge Medical Practice are looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse on a part-time basis.
We are a friendly, well-established GP practice located in Bearsden with a genuinely close and supportive multidisciplinary team. We pride ourselves on creating a positive working environment where everyones contribution is valued, ideas are welcomed and professional development is actively encouraged. We have a current list size of 9,600. We use EMIS and Docman systems within the practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate practice nurse to work collaboratively with our GPs and wider team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Chronic disease management (incl. diabetes, CHD, Stroke, Asthma, COPD)
2. Health promotion and lifestyle advice
3. Cervical screening
4. Supporting quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service
5. Supporting teaching practice for GP Specialty Trainees.
We are looking for someone who:
6. Is a registered nurse with a valid NMC registration
7. Has experience in a primary care setting or a strong interest in developing within this setting
8. Demonstrates a passion for chronic disease management and preventative healthcare
9. Is motivated to contribute to the ongoing development of our nursing service
10. Is confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
11. Has excellent communication and organisational skills

This is a permanent position for 18hrs per week, split over 4 days. Day are negotiable but hours will be 0830 1300. Salary dependant on experience.
