Estimator / Bid Manager – Construction & Fit-Out - Liverpool-BasedWe’re looking for amercially astute, experienced and professional Estimator / Bid Manager to lead both the estimating and bid management functions for a growing Liverpool-based property and construction businessThis is a dual role,bining hands-on estimating, with full ownership of the bid and tender process. You’ll play a key part in shaping themercial strategy and securing new work across a varied portfolio, including retail fit-outs, mixed-use developments, and construction schemes What you’ll be doing:
1. Preparing accurate andpetitive cost estimates using Conquest
2. Managing the full bid lifecycle - from initial enquiry through to submission and post-tender negotiation
3. Working closely with Directors, Project Managers, Planners and supply chain partners to ensure robust pricing and programme management
4. Leading the coordination and production of high-quality tender submissions
5. Developing & maintaining the estimating process
6. Bid Management – including utilising business development portals to identify new business opportunities
7. Identifying new framework opportunities
8. Securing work through successful estimates, tendering and bid management
What we’re looking for:
9. Proven experience in both Estimating and Bid Management, within Construction or Fit-out
10. Experience of working for a Main Contractor
11. Proficiency in Conquest estimating software is essential
12. Strongmercial awareness and understanding of construction methods and procurement
13. A solid team player with excellentmunication and collaborative working skills
