The opportunity Working within the commercial department, you'll provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support, helping the team deliver outstanding client care. Your responsibilities will include: Managing fee earners' diaries, correspondence, and client calls. Preparing and maintaining files, including billing, typing, photocopying, and filing. Drafting straightforward legal documents and submitting Land Registry and Stamp Duty forms. Liaising with clients and third parties, ensuring transactions run smoothly. Supporting with reception cover, postal duties, and wider team administration where needed. What we're looking for We're open to candidates with existing experience or those with strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in developing within commercial or conveyancing work. You'll need: Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally in property or commercial work (or willingness to learn). Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. A calm, professional manner with a flexible, team-focused approach.
