Role - Financial Controller Location - Oldham Salary - Between £75,000 - £85,000
Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to work for a fast-growing, acquisitive services organisation working at their offices based just outside Oldham.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and ideally have been trained within an accountancy practice. A strong technical accounting background is essential as is a knowledge around IFRS accounting standards. Management of staff is also crucial as the Financial Controller role will supervise and develop a financial accounting and transaction team. Any exposure to working within a PE backed business would be a distinct advantage. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

* Lead and manage the financial accounting and transactional teams

* Oversee preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements
\t
* Lead on month-end reporting
\t
* Monitor and manage cashflow
\t
* Lead on the external audit process
\t
* Process improvements
\t
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting process
\t
* Look to integrate financial processes within the wider group
\t
* Provide senior management with financial information
\t
* Ad-hoc project work
Salary for the role is up to £85,000 + additional benefits
