As an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Aberdeen you’ll be responsible for:
* Processing of purchase invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
* Dealing with telephone calls from suppliers and branches, promoting excellent customer service, accuracy and teamwork.
* Production of scheduled payment runs.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Filing of Accounts Payable paperwork, following departmental filing procedures and helping with monthly archiving of departmental paperwork.
* Be actively involved in the departmental training procedures and volunteer suggestions and information for improvement.
* Assisting Supervisor and Finance Manager with any ad-hoc projects as required.
* Comply with all Departmental, Health & Safety and other policies.
This is a full time, fixed term contract role working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30.

* We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
* A basic knowledge of excel would be an advantage.
* The candidate must be able to work as part of the Accounts Payable Team and also under their own initiative whilst following instruction from the Supervisor and the Finance Manager.
