Why this job matters
Python developer executes a range of workstreams in delivering a global MLOps model that enables the development, deployment and maintenance of scalable AI solutions, in order to apply machine learning capabilities to the BT Group's data assets.
What you’ll be doing
1.Contributes towards a technology infrastructure which enables optimal building and deployment of data science and machine learning algorithms.
2.Executes due diligence processes and supports the selection of new technologies to support best practices for the MLOps model.
3.Drives the adoption of the MLOps model and processes, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams of business partners, data scientists, data engineers, solutions, and data architects to quickly deliver scalable AI solutions, reducing the cost of scalable AI delivery.
4.Facilitates alignment with data engineering, data integration, data analytics, data science, and data operations work to ensure consistency across workstreams and machine learning solutions design.
5.Acts as a data science and machine learning advisor for multiple IT functions in regard to AI, machine learning / deep learning, NLP solutions, and data visualisation.
6.Contributes towards the development of guidelines and policies relating to data science and machine learning operations.
7.Mentors other Data Science & AI professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
8.Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in data science and machine learning.
