Offer description

A growing waste management business based in Warwick is looking for a proactive and organised Bookings Administrator to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office. This is a busy, customer-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls, providing friendly and professional customer service.
2. Respond promptly to customer and supplier enquiries, resolving queries efficiently.
3. Take bookings over the phone and via email, ensuring accurate information is captured.
4. Place bookings with external providers and track delivery progress.
5. Produce and manage all relevant paperwork associated with bookings and daily operations.
6. Support with internal audits and compliance-related tasks.
7. Enter information accurately into spreadsheets and maintain up-to-date records.
8. Input data into the finance system as required.
9. General administrative duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and document organisation.
10. Process parts orders and manage stock levels to ensure availability for engineers.
11. Provide wider admin support to the Office Manager and the team as needed.

Skills & Experience Required

12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Strong customer service capability with a professional and friendly approach.
14. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
15. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when processing bookings and data.
16. Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and use initiative.
17. A collaborative team player with a flexible attitude.
