We’re on the hunt for a talented Insurance Broking Services Manager who uses their knowledge and experience of the Insurance Industry to lead a team and build strong, trusted, and profitable client and customer relationships.

As a Broking Services Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Commercial team, managing and maintaining your own designated portfolio of clients to the highest standards.


Role Responsibilities

* Manage your team daily and support the Team Director, who maintains overall responsibility for the Commercial Team book of business.
* Ensure Account Handlers accurately process renewals and adhere to company processes and procedures.
* Oversee administrative management for Account Handlers, including holidays, sickness, and absences.
* Identify recruitment needs, participate in interviews, and implement training procedures for new team members.
* Address performance issues promptly and appropriately.
* Set personal training plans and conduct appraisals for your direct reports.
* Provide quality service to existing clients, advising, reviewing, arranging, and securing appropriate insurance coverage at competitive premiums.
* Handle new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals in relevant markets according to company policies.
* Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, referring queries outside your knowledge to the appropriate person.


Required Experience

Extensive insurance broking experience is essential, as you will provide a comprehensive commercial experience to clients. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines. Excellent relationship skills, enthusiasm, and problem-solving abilities are crucial. Some team leadership or people management experience is advantageous.
