Customer Service Advisor - Field Based - Driving Required We are currently supporting a local public sector organisation in Belfast in recruiting Field Advisors to support waste management and recycling initiatives across the city. This is a field-based role focused on delivering front-line advice and guidance, supporting environmental awareness activities, and promoting positive recycling behaviours within communities. This is a temporary assignment, working Monday to Friday and involves regular field-based activity including community engagement and site visits. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors and engaging with the public as part of service delivery and awareness activities. Candidates Must have a full riving licence with access to a vehicle Hours: 37 per week Employment Type: Temporary Rate: £15.82 per hour Start Date 16th July Key Responsibilities: Provide advice and guidance to households and businesses on waste management and recycling practices Support engagement activities aimed at encouraging positive environmental and recycling behaviours Carry out surveys, collect data, and accurately record information using digital and paper-based systems Promote recycling schemes and environmental awareness initiatives within local communities Assist with site-based waste management activities, including container support and related operations Engage with members of the public face-to-face in a professional and customer-focused manner Contribute to service improvement activities, reporting, and project support Use handheld devices and IT systems to update and maintain accurate records Drive shared vehicles as required and ensure they are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition Candidate Requirements: Full, current driving licence with access to a vehicle Minimum 12 months' experience in a public-facing role involving customer engagement and data recording Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Good IT skills, including use of handheld devices and basic systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confident handling public-facing situations in a professional manner Willingness to work outdoors and engage directly with the public
