Looking for a role where every day makes a difference?
Some children need a little extra support to thrive. That's where you come in.
We're working with a welcoming school in Brentwood looking for a caring, patient, and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team full-time. You'll be supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them build confidence, access learning, and enjoy their school day.
No two days are the same, and that's part of what makes this role so rewarding.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping children with SEND access learning in and out of the classroom
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
* Creating a calm, supportive environment where every child feels valued
We'd love to hear from you if you:
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
* Are calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children's development
* Can adapt to different situations and think on your feet
* Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
Experience supporting any of the following would be a bonus:
* Autism (ASC)
* ADHD
* Speech and Language Needs
* SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
* Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
