School Business Manager – Bradford (Secondary School)

Daily rate: Competitive (based on experience)
Are you a sharp, solutions-focused leader with a knack for numbers and school operations? A thriving secondary school in Bradford is on the lookout for an experienced School Business Manager to take the reins of its business and support services this September.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing the school’s budget, financial systems and reporting with accuracy and foresight
* Overseeing HR procedures, including safer recruitment, staff contracts and absence management
* Leading on site management, health & safety, risk assessments and compliance
* Coordinating service contracts and liaising with external providers
* Working closely with the Headteacher and SLT to drive efficiency and support strategic planning
✅ What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a school business leadership role (secondary school experience preferred)
* Sound knowledge of SIMS/FMS or similar school systems
* Familiarity with DfE guidance and school funding processes
* A confident communicator with excellent organisation and people skills
* Ideally holds a Level 4/5 Diploma in School Business Management (not essential)
