Cluster Support Officer – East Primary Care Team
Job Overview
Fixed-term secondment until 31 March 2026 for staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). Permission from current line manager required before applying.
Main duties
* Assist in establishment and delivery of new and existing projects in Flintshire and Wrexham.
* Support East Clusters and Professional Collaboratives; collate project reports and evaluation data, lead cluster and collaborative administration and governance documentation.
* Key role in rollout of Accelerated Cluster Development in Flintshire and Wrexham.
* Plan, facilitate, monitor progress of projects, products, service improvements or change initiatives.
* Ensure accurate records and governance documents (meeting minutes, action logs, risk registers).
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues in Flintshire and Wrexham Clusters and Professional Collaboratives (Cluster Leads, GPs, Pharmacists, Optometrists).
* Welsh speaking desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome.
Qualifications & Knowledge
* HND in relevant subject or equivalent qualification or experience.
* ECDL or equivalent experience.
Desirable
* PRINCE2 foundation
* Change Management training
* Experience of proactively challenging staff and influencing them to change.
* Exposure to projects and project management.
* Knowledge of Accelerated Cluster Development programme.
* Welsh speaking.
Experience
* Significant experience working within a demanding/high-intensity administrative setting.
* Experience of raising issues and risks.
* Able to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve complex problems.
* Ability to deliver deadlines on a wide range of administrative / projects processes.
Skills
* Able to produce reports that convey complex issues in everyday language.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Statistical analysis.
