At Jewson, Mablethorpe, we are a small, successful and friendly team. The Sales Advisor is an integral part of the team. What you’ll be doing: Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction. Target dormant and lapsed accounts to reactivate them Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Working hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and every 2nd Saturday morning 8.00am-12.00pm What you’ll need to have: Previous industry experience preferred but not essential Experience in a customer facing environment Passion for working with people A positive can-do attitude What’s in it for you: Discretionary bonus A wide range of voluntary benefits including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, car salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle2Work, Benenden Healthcare and more.
