Are you a Council Tax or Business Rates specialist looking for a career change that utilises your current skillset? We are currently seeking a Support Consultant with a background in Revenues.
You will assist clients in resolving software issues and inquiries, build relationships, and deliver excellent customer service. The role can be home-based after initial training at our Bracknell office.
This role involves liaising with development and product teams to improve software and enhance customer satisfaction. Candidates should have experience in Council Tax and/or Business Rates, possibly as an assessor or system administrator, and NEC Revenues and Benefits system knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities include supporting NEC customers, understanding application environments, managing incidents within SLAs, translating customer requirements, and identifying revenue opportunities. The role may be split 50/50 between office and home working.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
* Extensive knowledge of Revenues and Benefits software
* Good understanding of Revenues Legislation, Council Tax, and Non-Domestic Rates
* Ability to prioritize urgent calls
* Experience managing issues to resolution, coordinating resources as needed
* Experience working with the Public Sector
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of software development principles in ISO 9001 environments
* SQL knowledge
