Ringway Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Operations Team based in Essex. In this key role, you will support the delivery of a wide range of highway services — from routine maintenance and inspections to repairs, improvements, and specialist investigations. You will take a hands-on approach to planning, organising, and supervising on-site activities, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard as part of the Council’s highways programme and other commissioned projects.
The Role
• Manage and direct a Supply Chain Partners and self-delivery teams delivering key activities.
• Ensure that all information required to carry out works is available and clear via dashboards.
• Deliver daily briefings and communicate clearly to operational teams
• Complete daily record sheets and associated documents
• Complete daily site visits for auditing
• Conversant with Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• NRSWA – Supervisor (New Road and Street Works Act) Qualification
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• First Aid Certification
