JOIN SCOTLAND’s FASTEST GROWING STARTUP We’ve just secured a Series A, come help us shape what’s next in our engine rooms as our Operations Associate. As a Operations Associate, you’ll work directly with our founders and cross functional leads to architect, automate, and optimise every back office function: from RevOps and finance through HR and IT security. This is an in-office role in Edinburgh (5 days/week). Wordsmith is the AI command-centre for in-house legal teams—automating intake, Q&A, redlines, drafting, and research so legal can finally operate at the speed of business. A STEM, or Business degree from a top-tier university.
Strong SQL proficiency for data modelling and automation.
Comfort with BI tools (Tableau, Looker) and basic Python scripting.
Proven track record designing scalable workflows and financial/operational models.
Experience collaborating with founders, finance partners, HR leads, and IT vendors.
Able to translate data into clear, actionable insights for execs.
Founders & Senior Leaders: Sit in on strategy sessions, own special projects, and learn scaling tactics firsthand.
RevOps Lead: Co-build our CRM pipelines, dashboards, and automation engines.
Finance Partner: People & Talent Lead: Optimise hiring workflows, onboarding, and policy rollouts.
Build/optimise CRM processes, analyse funnel metrics, and automate reports.
Partner on monthly P&L, variance analysis, invoicing, and expense workflows.
People & HR: Manage ATS, headcount trackers, policy updates, and new-hire programs.
Ad-hoc Strategic Projects: Lead initiatives, from market research and vendor evaluations to pilot programs—presenting findings directly to founders.
