This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, precision, and a commitment to the highest aerospace safety and quality standards. Successfully interviewed contractors will carry out production fitting of our new build Islander aircraft, from individual detail parts through to final installation stages. Key Responsibilities •Perform fitting and assembly tasks on aircraft structures, systems, and flying control assemblies •Interpret BN engineering drawings and escalate process improvements or alternative techniques to enhance production capability •Apply daily hand skills including pitching, drawing, drilling, countersinking, solid riveting, and installation of other approved fasteners in accordance with approved design data •Carry out production line fitting from detail parts to final installation stages in line with production priorities •Work accurately from engineering drawings, specifications, and detailed work instructions •Use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently •Complete all work to strict quality standards and within allocated timescales •Meet and update local KPIs in line with the production plan &bull...
