Roaming Commercial Manager
Location: Newbury (Hybrid). Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As part of the Roaming & Interconnect team, you will support the Senior Roaming Manager in driving VodafoneThree’s commercial roaming strategy, deliver the Roaming & Visitor Budget, and ensure a seamless roaming experience for over 30 million customers and inbound visitors.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Roaming Manager to ensure the DB and VodafoneThree Roaming strategy are successfully delivered for Roaming and Visitor
* Manage and track cost and revenue bases vs. the agreed Roaming & Visitor Plan
* Provide regular monitoring and reporting for all key KPIs and metrics
* Ensure Roaming & Interconnect rates are tracked and communicated to relevant stakeholders
* Calculate and understand values associated with Roaming Settlement Agreements
* Facilitate commercial understanding of Roaming across the business, providing insight into trends, market changes and customer usage behaviours
* Manage commercial and operational relationships with third‑party vendors & internal teams
* Support business units with retail proposition changes or customer experience improvements
* Ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards, working with Regulatory, Group functions and Billing Ops
* Assist in defining future trading models and services to optimise long‑term performance (e.g., NB‑IOT, LTE‑M, 5G SA Roaming, Props v Travel SIM)
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience in roaming and wholesale services, and regulatory requirements and industry standards
* Strong commercial acumen with negotiation experience and leadership capability
* Numerate, excellent Excel and analytical skills; experience in data analysis, modelling and forecasting
* Ability to recognise and evaluate potential commercial risk and identify appropriate mitigation strategies
* Comfortable developing relationships with a variety of teams and stakeholders within VodafoneThree
