Paying £12.21 per hour - Our client, a well-established organisation based in Oldham, is seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their finance team for a 8 week temporary assignment. Starting on Tuesday the 6th of May, this is a full-time job opportunity working 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch break (35 hours per week). THE JOB Invoice And Payment Processing As a Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Verifying invoice accuracy, submitting through portals, processing debits/credits/invoices, managing concession billing, and handling card payments. Customer Account Management Resolving queries, managing shortage and pricing claims, following up on debit notes, and liaising with customers regularly. Documentation And Data Handling Uploading and sending PODs, exporting financial data into Excel, and allocating payments accordingly. THE PERSON The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. You Will Need Previous experience working within a finance or accounts support role in credit control or accounts receivable Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel The ability to work on-site full-time and commute to Oldham This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their finance experience within a collaborative and professional team.
