Hybrid Working (1–2 days from home)
The Opportunity
Eaton Syalon are exclusively supporting a well-established, fast-growing SME that has doubled in headcount over the last five years to hire a HR Advisor/HR Generalist.
Reporting into the HR Manager, you’ll join a small, collaborative HR team where you’ll be involved across the full employee lifecycle, from advisory and casework through to projects, policy review, process improvement and supporting operational teams on a day-to-day basis.
If you enjoy variety, being close to the business, and working with a wide-ranging employee population this is the kind of role where you’ll thrive.
This role will suit:
* An established HR Advisor who enjoys a broad, generalist remit in a smaller business
* Or someone stepping into their first HR Advisor role having gained strong experience in a HR Support role
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting managers across multiple sites, providing practical, commercially minded HR support.
Key areas will include:
* Providing HR advice on employee relations matters (absence, performance, conduct, grievance)
* Supporting cases from start to resolution
* Building strong relationships with managers
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and wider employee lifecycle processes
* Assisting with HR systems, data accuracy and payroll liaison
* HR projects including onboarding of acquired sites
* Policy development and review
* Process improvements
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to employee relations within a smaller business/team setting
* Someone confident working in a fast-paced, operational environment
* Strong interpersonal skills — able to build credibility across all levels
* A hands-on, pragmatic approach with a willingness to get stuck in
* High attention to detail, particularly around HR systems and data
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities across different sites
You will be CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or possess relevant work experience over recent years.
