Design & Technology (D&T) Teacher | Full-Time Teaching Placement
Burton upon Trent | Start Date: TBC (Flexible to Suit Current Notice Periods)
Are you a passionate and hands-on Design & Technology teacher looking for your next full-time opportunity? We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Burton seeking a committed D&T specialist to take on full teaching responsibilities.
The start date is to be confirmed, allowing flexibility for teachers currently in post. The school is open to negotiating a suitable end/start date to ensure a smooth transition for both the educator and the school.
The Role
This is a full-time teaching placement with full responsibilities, including:
* Planning and delivering engaging D&T lessons
* Workshop-based practical teaching
* Marking and assessment
* Attending parents’ evenings
* Contributing to the wider department and school community
Workshop experience is essential, as practical, hands-on learning will form the core of the role.
Who We’re Looking For
We are ideally seeking someone with direct, hands-on workshop experience and the confidence to take full ownership of the role.
However, we are also keen to hear from:
* ECTs who are eager to prove themselves and take on responsibility
* Overseas-trained teachers
* Lecturers or industry professionals with strong practical D&T experience
* Individuals with substantial hands-on workshop experience who may not hold QTS
QTS is not essential if you can demonstrate the skills, subject knowledge, and classroom capability required to meet the role expectations.
If you are confident in a workshop environment and can deliver high-quality practical lessons safely and effectively, we would love to hear from you.
Why Choose Revolve Collective?
* Local Staffordshire & West Midlands secondary schools you’ll love working with
* Flexible work to suit your lifestyle - full or part-time (please note this role is full-time)
* Weekly pay & competitive rates (we will beat your current pay rate – within reason!)
* Friendly and experienced consultants who genuinely support you (working alongside the business owners/directors and being part of the journey)
* Wellbeing days & paid leave available (earn more as you work more)
Not the Right Role? Let’s Still Talk.
This isn’t the only position we’re currently working on.
If you’re a teacher of a different subject, looking in a different area, or exploring alternative opportunities, we would still welcome a conversation and the chance to register with Revolve Collective.
We can:
* Discuss other long-term and permanent opportunities
* Support with short-term and supply roles if you’re not currently seeking a full-time post
* Help you plan your next career move around your availability and goals
We are a business that is growing week by week, offering benefits that many other agencies simply don’t -including paid leave - and we commit a percentage of our profits back into the schools we work with. We’re building something different, and we want our educators to feel part of that journey.
