Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Support Officer to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Finance Business Support Officer
Location: Nottinghamshire
Rate: £12.85 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ 15.82per hour (Umbrella/LTD)
Contract: 3 months on going.
Working: Full-time, On-site
Role Overview:
1. Support the procurement of goods and services by raising purchase orders and accurately entering data into BMS/SAP systems
2. Managing invoice approvals, resolving payment queries, and liaising with departments and vendors.
3. Raise purchase orders and input data into BMS/SAP
4. Monitor team inbox and manage own worklist
5. Resolve order/payment issues and chase invoice approvals
6. Input travel claim payments into Excel
7. Ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and follow business support processes
8. Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
9. Proficient in Excel, spreadsheets, and databases
10. Organised, methodical, and able to work under pressure
11. Excellent communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently and within a team
