Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct delivery of food and beverages
* Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including coffee and specialised beverages, adhering to food safety standards
* Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workspace
* Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system with basic maths skills
* Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and seating arrangements
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
* Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
* Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
Skills
* Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices
* Barista experience or familiarity with coffee making is desirable
* Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to prepare simple food items efficiently and hygienically
* Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
* Good communication skills, friendly demeanour, and professional appearance
* Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
