Job Description:
Velox Social Care are looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers within the Carlislearea to provide quality, person-centred care to CYP (Children and Young people) who require structured care and support within a residential environment.
We are committed to finding individuals who want to make a real difference to childrens lives - people that are passionate, committed and invest in all that they do to achieve their potential and support others to do so.
You will be supporting Children and Young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement, understanding, care and patience. You will be required to do record daily logs and liaise with colleagues, our dedicated Care Management Team and outside agencies.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
* Right to Work in the UK
* 6 Months+ UK experience of working with Children/Young People in a residential setting
* Enhanced Child DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
* Relevant Qualifications - QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or Children and Young people
* Full (Clean) Driving License
* Restraint training in date - PMVA or Team Teach Training
As a CYP Residential Support Worker working with Velox Social Care, you will have your own dedicated Consultant to guide you through every aspect of the compliance and shift booking process.
