About the role The Product Processing Manager is based at their Rolleston facility. Utilising best practice quality processes for all product handling, their investment in people, automation and technology enables customised and comprehensive cold storage and logistical services.
Reporting to the GM Operations, this pivotal role will see you overseeing the seven-day operations of inbound meat blasting, sorting, and palletising processes. Your team will comprise of product handlers and quality control professionals. Core responsibilities will include:
1. Establishing and refining transfer processes and systems from the meat processing facility to the main store.
2. Leading and managing a team across two shifts to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met.
3. Working closely with internal teams, transport providers, and clients to maintain strong communication and smooth workflows.
4. Monitoring and maintaining quality control standards through effective oversight of the QC team.
5. Driving continuous improvement in processes, safety, and client outcomes.
