Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, your role will include:
* Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated Maths lessons
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports behaviour for learning
* Using assessment and feedback to drive pupil progress and attainment
* Supporting learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
* Working closely with teaching assistants, ALN staff, and the wider Maths department
* Contributing to the school’s pastoral system and wider school life

Mathematics Teacher Requirements
To be considered for this Maths Teacher job in Newport, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised PGCE
* Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school
