Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Salary: £36,036 per annum (£18.48 per hour) + Sleep-ins

We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care within a children’s residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about safeguarding, leadership, and improving outcomes for young people.
Role Overview:
* Support the day-to-day running of the home
* Lead shifts and manage staff performance
* Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance
* Build positive relationships with children and professionals
* Support Ofsted inspections and quality standards
* Promote a nurturing, therapeutic environment
What we’re looking for:
* Level 5 in Leadership & Management (essential)
* Experience in children’s residential care
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted & Children’s Homes Regulations
* Confident leadership and decision-making skills
* Ability to support, develop and motivate a team
Salary & Benefits:
* £36,036 per annum
Working Pattern:
* Mix of shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
* Minimum one office day per week
* On-call duties (weekends & during manager leave)
* Flexible start/finish times depending on service needs
