An Ofsted-rated Outstanding mainstream primary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a highly supportive and well-resourced school known for its strong leadership, high expectations, and commitment to pupil success.
The Role:
* Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum expectations
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and independence
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning needs
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development and achievement
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s ethos and values
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable but not essential)
* Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective teaching practice
* Be confident in managing a classroom and maintaining high standards of behaviour
* Show a passion for teaching and improving outcomes for all learners
* Be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be committed to maintaining the high standards associated with an Outstanding school
