Care and Support - Ailsa Lodge Care Home, Bishopton, Renfrewshire. Provides Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 36 residents.
Position Details
* Contract: Full Time (36 hours per week)
* Shift Type: Night shift
* Salary: £12.70 per hour
* Paid breaks, pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (full‑time)

What You’ll Do
Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, encouraging independent choices.
Personalized Care: Follow each resident’s care plan and provide hands‑on help.
Health and Wellbeing: Monitor health, communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, arrange calls to relatives or professionals.
Champion Dignity: Uphold dignity and respect of each resident.
Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff.
Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeeping to maintain clean, safe rooms and respond quickly to emergencies.
Nutritional Support: Assist residents with eating and drinking.
Spread Smiles: Bring joy to residents’ lives daily.
About You
* SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
* At least 6 months experience as a Care Assistant, or equivalent passion and transferable skills.
* Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to excellent service.
* Integrity, respect, teamwork.
