GSL Education are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join schools in Bolsover. As a CS, this role offers an exciting opportunity to supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on their learning. As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using pre-prepared resources. Ensure pupils stay on task and manage classroom behaviour effectively. Support students with their learning and answer general queries. Report back on pupil progress and classroom engagement. Uphold safeguarding and promote a positive learning environment. Requirements for Cover Supervisor: Previous experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting is desirable. Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills. Ability to adapt to different classrooms and year groups. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
