Role –Mechanical Fitter position
Location –Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Full time hours – Day shift
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Rate of pay – Depending on experience up to £14.50 per hour
Our client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join their busy workshop based team.
Applicants will have worked in a similar position previously and will be mechanically minded.
Main duties include –
Building, installing and repairing mechanical sub assembly frames as per company specifications
Using measuring instruments to identify components
Reading engineering drawings to ensure that company specifications are met
Inspecting finished product range to ensure they meet and follow company product range
Working to and achieving daily targets of work and weekly work plans.
Candidate attributes –
Mechanically minded and will have worked in a similar position previously
Ability to read engineering based drawings
Good attention to detail skills and communication skills.
Previous experience working with hand and power tools
