As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm and friendly welcome. We’re looking for someone who’s calm under pressure, and finds ways to help teams run efficiently in order to achieve the highest standards. You'll be an ambitious team member, striving for quality while dealing with quantity at the busiest visitor business in London and the South East. Salary: £13.25 per hour
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: 800 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
Working Pattern: Hours are mainly 9:00-17:00 shifts, with some 9:00-2:30 shifts. This can vary between 1-3 days per week, depending on operational need. Weekend working, bank holidays and some evening shifts will be required.

We require you to have a full UK driving licence, as you will be required to drive a vehicle across the sites in order to complete presentation works.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Visitor Operations Manager, alongside 2 Welcome and Service Assistant Managers, you’ll be part of a team of 24 Welcomers working at Cliveden property/portfolio.
The Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community, and the skilled and dedicated staff are supported by hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers. The iconic estate with a luxury hotel, beautiful gardens and riverside setting offers family-friendly events operating all year round. We welcome over half a million visitors, making this property a busy location with a wide range of opportunities for growth. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with refurbishment of the famous Long Garden among recent projects, and ambitious plans to upgrade the visitor infrastructure.
There are a series of impressive formal gardens giving way to serene woodland walks, all with far reaching views and an abundance of nature changing throughout the seasons. Not far from London, the location is wonderfully rural, so you'll need your own transport to get here.
What you'll be doing
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
