IFA Administrator / Financial Planning Administrator
Location: Chester Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Search is working with a respected and long‑established financial planning firm in Chester to appoint an experienced IFA Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already understands the demands of supporting financial advisers and delivering a seamless client experience.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in an IFA, wealth management, or financial planning environment, ideally with hands‑on involvement in new business processing, client servicing, and adviser support.
The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring advisers and clients receive efficient, accurate and proactive support. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing new business across pensions, investments, protection, and mortgage products
* Managing ongoing client servicing tasks including switches, rebalances, withdrawals, and policy updates
* Liaising with providers to obtain valuations, policy information and resolve queries
* Preparing client correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance standards are met
* Handling incoming post, emails, and general administrative duties
* Providing reception cover and welcoming clients when required
