What You'll Be Doing
As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you will:
* Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans
* Assist in fabricating steel components using cutting, bending, and welding techniques
* Gain experience in MIG and TIG welding under supervision
* Work on projects from initial fabrication to final assembly and installation
* Be trained in working to exacting industry standards, including health and safety procedures
* Collaborate with a team of skilled tradespeople and engineers
This is a hands-on role that combines on-the-job learning with formal training (through an approved apprenticeship provider), leading to industry-recognised qualifications.
What We're Looking For
* A genuine interest in welding, engineering, and fabrication
* Good practical skills and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work well in a team
* SVQs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and a technical subject are desirable
