Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Make a lasting difference by guiding students towards positive choices and improved engagement in school life! GSL Education are looking for a reliable Behaviour Support/Mentor to work in schools across Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The Behaviour Support/Mentor will work closely with students who require additional guidance, helping them manage behaviour, build resilience, and re-engage with learning. Main Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to support behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Implement behaviour support strategies and intervention plans. Build positive, professional relationships with students. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of support provided. Requirements of Behaviour Support/Mentor: Experience working with young people with behavioural or SEMH needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Calm, patient, and resilient approach. Ability to set clear boundaries and promote positive behaviour. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
