Join Our Client as a Technical Operator!
Are you ready to play a key role in manufacturing cutting-edge battery cells and modules? We're looking for a Technical Operator to join our clients dynamic production team in Ebbw Vale. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company where your skills and initiative will help drive our operational success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating production machinery and loading materials
Conducting quality and safety checks to ensure compliance and consistency
Performing routine maintenance and basic fault rectification on production equipment
Managing efficient line changeovers with minimal downtime
Accurately logging downtime using manual or automated systems
Adhering to and promoting safe working practices
Supporting general factory duties as required
Training colleagues on machinery and processes
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications & Background:
Ideally A-Level or HNC qualified in a mechanical discipline (or equivalent)
Solid experience in a multi-skilled manufacturing environment
Skills & Attributes:
Quick learner with the ability to work independently
Strong problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and process discipline
Good IT literacy, particularly for production systems
Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
A valid FLT licence is highly desirable but not essential
