GTS Group is working with a leading organisation delivering complex projects within a prestigious government estate in London. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join a growing project delivery team and support the successful delivery of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of projects from planning through to completion. Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting senior project managers in the day-to-day management of projects
* Leading defined elements of project delivery under supervision
* Assisting with contract administration and project documentation
* Preparing reports, project programmes, and supporting documentation
* Coordinating communication between clients, contractors, and consultant teams
* Supporting Health & Safety compliance and CDM Regulations on site
* Assisting with pricing, instructions, and client communication
* Supporting applications for payment and preparation of final accounts
* Managing document control and maintaining project processes and templates
* Attending financial and progress meetings with clients, engineers, and subcontractors
* Supporting engineers and project teams to optimise contract resources
* Using internal systems and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
* Identifying opportunities to improve project processes and service delivery

To be successful in this role, you should have:
* 1–3 years’ experience in a construction, consultancy, or contractor environment
* Experience supporting the delivery of projects
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment
* Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
Desirable:
* A degree in construction, project management, or a built environment discipline
* Familiarity with JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Experience working with main contractors
* Understanding of RIBA stages and procurement processes
