The Role
Here at PwC UK, our Events Management team has evolved into Creative Experiences as we look to ‘Reimagine the Possible’ - creating lasting, memorable experiences that bring our brand to life through innovations in design & technology, executed to the highest standard.
We are looking for a Creative Experiences Manager to join our team leading on internal leadership events for some of our most senior stakeholders. This is a key role in the UK Creative Solutions team (sat within Sales & Marketing) reporting into The Head of Creative Experiences. You will be responsible for the strategic management of your own events, working in collaboration with the Event Delivery Team to execute as well as supporting the Senior Managers within the team across some of their activity.

* You are analytical and have a meticulous eye for detail which you have honed through your creative event industry experience
* You thrive off insight, identifying trends, using data and analytics to support the team strategy plan and wider firm experience activation goals
* You are tech savvy with an eye for operational efficiency, seeking out new optimal tech based solutions or identifying gaps in existing ones dependent on the goals of each experience.
* You are a strong multi-tasker able to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and suppliers at one time, with a firm understanding that collaboration with cross functional teams (Internal Comms / Design / Procurement / Risk…) and third party suppliers contribute to success.
* You have a curious, disruptive mind when it comes to innovation at events and are always looking for the next tech leap forward.
Key responsibilities
* Strategic management of our key internal events for our Senior Partners and Directors, drilling down into stakeholder objectives and advising how best to activate these in a live environment.
* Support the Creative Experiences strategy and execution plan, working with Senior Leads to ensure events deliver against our remit and business objectives and that they are informative, interactive, integrated, action-oriented and above all, memorable for audiences.
* Working collaboratively across teams to ensure operational efficiency - building and adhering to processes that are technology enabled to ensure the efficiency of end to end processes, service and resources.
* Ensure our Book of Work is kept up to date and that all relevant data is input in a timely manner for reporting purposes.
* Working closely with the Event Delivery team, creation of fully comprehensive project plans to ensure they have all the information they need to execute the logistics needed for the event, occasional venue and speaker sourcing may be required.
* Supporting and coaching junior team members when working on projects that require collaboration, managing roles and responsibilities and identifying areas for development.
* Engaging with 3rd party Creative Production and Audio Visual suppliers for the initial design thinking, including leading on RFP tenders (in conjunction with Procurement teams) in competitive scenarios.
* Working alongside creative operational leads (Visual and Design, Brand) to help manage consistency of approach across the Creative Solutions team ensuring our Brand is correctly represented in a live environment.
* Lead on pre and post-event evaluations with both stakeholders and suppliers to measure the success, learnings and results of our experiences to ensure continual improvement and drive performance.
* Supporting the Head of Creative Experiences with supplier management managing Quarterly Business Reviews across suppliers you have engaged with and ensuring Service Level Agreements are upheld.
* Producing and relaying reports based on quantitative and qualitative data that feed in to how we can improve our service offering for stakeholders, ensuring a consistent focus on ROI across the programmes.
* Work closely with our Sustainability lead within the Creative Experiences team ensuring all events / brand activations across the firm are consistent and meet criteria
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends particularly in the experiential space, identifying and account managing third party providers required.
* Budgetary control: ensuring costs are managed with suppliers and negotiated without compromising quality and in a timely manner. Forecasting and budget reporting required.
* Supporting external industry award submissions (in conjunction with Brand) helping shape entries and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Input to function wide improvement projects, initiatives and workstreams across Sales & Marketing.
Skills required
* Demonstrate practical and hands-on experience of creating and executing a broad range of events including experiential, conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies.
* Highly organised, exceptional attention to detail, proven ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a calm attitude.
* Demonstrable capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands.
* Strong ability to identify trends and provide factual reports based on multiple data sources in order to measure success / identify areas for improvement.
* Engaging presentation / storytelling skills and a track record of successfully selling and executing brave, creative ideas and experiences.
* An immersive / experiential mindset combined with an understanding of how technology can support what you are trying to achieve
* Proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organisation, as well as externally.
* Experience of working with Executive / C-Suite support teams is essential.
* Experience of managing complex, large scale events with budgets of £200,000+
* A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a corporate events environment
* Familiarity of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) would be useful
* Experience of delegate management technology (Splash) useful
* Experience of feedback tools to enable ROI reporting

* PwC use G-Suite products, experience is a bonus but not essential
* We currently operate on a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days in the office (London based)
