Responsibilities:
* Design, analyse, and optimise mechanical systems related to diesel-powered generator sets.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
* Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and devise corrective actions.
* Oversee all mechanical design.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in power generation mechanical engineering.
* Ensure compliance with EU/UL standards and regulations pertaining to mechanical systems and safety.
* Create and manage the technical drawing library.
* Carry out all work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Solid experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the power generation sector.
* Experience with Stage V and Tier 4 Final engine after treatment systems.
* Experience in airflow calculations.
* Experience in heat testing.
* Strong analytical skills coupled with hands-on technical expertise.
* Familiarity with CE/UL engineering standards.
* Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools; experience using Creo would be beneficial.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Location & Hours:
Location: County Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–15:30.
Salary: Upto £50,000 per annum
