Senior Saving Specialist (Paraplanner) Belfast - Hybrid We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Savings Specialist (Paraplanner) take ownership and provide operational technical support to the Destination Retirement Wealth service, dealing with both customer and staff requests. You will also accurately analyse, interpret and record technical information received from product providers to ensure that the advice function can support customers appropriately. As a Senior Savings Specialist (Paraplanner), you will act as a technical reference point for the team and expected to manage case checking, circumstances outside of the scope of the service (supported by a wider team) and speak to customers who require more technical assistance. You will work in collaboration with other teams to develop plans and experiments to test how propositions can be enhanced to improve customer outcomes and help HUB to achieve its strategic and financial goals Key Responsibilities Managing workflow of tasks and recording information within the CRM Interpreting & Recording LOA & Platform accessible information, obtaining clarification where needed Case Checking & Technical Quality Assurance Provide technical support to the Destination Retirement Savings Specialists Handle technical client queries and help service existing clients General non-technical customer queries will normally be answered by other teams but you will be required to answer customer incoming client calls in periods of very high volume Preparing Suitability Reports and supporting documents Working with report writing software, use/improve/build tools that support robust application of tasks regularly undertaken Supporting the development of the Proposition, working with advisers on client journey, customer-facing document improvements and efficiency improvements to Report Maintain awareness of legislative changes and product developments by undertaking CPD Skills and Experience: Diploma Level 4 exams - completion of one of RO1, RO2 & RO4 with willingness to complete another exam Experience of working in an FCA regulated financial advice firm Exposure to working with and interpreting technical financial documentation from providers Experience of process checking and assisting in enhancing client offering Experienced in supporting advisers and administrators with a range of tasks, including communication with product providers and clients, researching products as well as providing support to other members of a financial planning team Experience of wrap platforms and main tax wrappers Inquisitive nature and willingness to question and challenge at all levels of the organisation. Can demonstrate a sound technical knowledge of the financial services industry across a full range of retirement solutions, particularly investments and pensions. Good interpersonal skills are a must, as is excellent verbal and written communication skills Proactive and able to use own initiative Ability to cope well in a busy working environment and manage own work load Strong customer centric values and desire to understand and meet the needs and wants of financial service customers. Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and a strong track record of achievement. Strong stakeholder management skills across business functions and seniority.
