NFU Scotland (NFUS) is an agricultural membership organisation representing some 9,000 farmers and crofters across the country. NFU Scotland is the nation’s leading agricultural lobbying organisation. Our mission is to promote and protect the interests of Scottish food, farming and crofting by influencing government, the supply chain and engaging with consumers. We are looking for a Regional Manager to be the face of NFU Scotland in Dumfries & Galloway. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about agriculture and rural affairs to make a real difference at a local level. What you’ll do: Represent NFU Scotland at local stakeholder meetings and events. Support and engage with members, responding to queries and assisting with cases. Coordinate regional activities, including meetings, policy events, and member-led initiatives. Build strong relationships with NFU Scotland Group Secretaries Communicate NFU Scotland’s work effectively through meetings, publications, and social media. Manage a regional budget in collaboration with your Regional Chairman. Ensure accurate and timely administration. What you'll bring Excellent people skills Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines. Computer literacy and attention to detail. Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player. · Knowledge of the farming industry and its supply chain would be beneficial What are we offering? · Annual salary of £36,000 - £48,000 commensurate with demonstrable knowledge, competence and experience. · Full-time permanent contract (35 hours per week) · Work from home · 38-day holiday entitlement per year (Inc.
